With the majority of its returning models having already gone under the knife to meet the new Euro 5 standard, it seems like Triumph’s turned its focus to cranking out even more special editions for the current model year. We just saw the Bonneville Gold Lines released not two weeks ago, and now we’re getting two more fresh takes. The latest to join the fray are the Street Twin EC1 Special Edition, named for an area of London’s East End renowned for its buzzy motorcycle culture, and the Thruxton RS Ton Up edition, a homage to the British cafe racer subculture and its ton-up boys.
Perhaps not surprisingly, distinguishing qualities on the special-edition models come down to just paint, graphics, and some details; these bikes will be available for one year only. The Speed Twin gets the same revisions covered in the earlier Bonneville release, and the RS retains its top-shelf specification.
