The 2020 Harley-Davidson Road King is the stripped-down bagger in H-D’s touring line. A modern tourer with amenities like one-touch bags, Showa dual-bending valve front suspension, and rear emulsion shocks, the Road King guarantees a convenient and comfortable ride. From the ’60s-inspired Hiawatha headlamp and nacelle to the chrome accents throughout, the Road King is a classically styled mile-collecting model.
The Road King comes in three variants, the Road King Special (which won Best Touring Bike in Cycle World’s 2017 Ten Best Bikes), Road King CVO, and Road King Limited. Competition includes the Indian Springfield and Indian Springfield Dark Horse.
There are no significant changes for the 2020 model year. Different color alternatives are available for 2020 and these, aside from the typical Vivid Black, include: Billiard Red, Stone Washed White Pearl, Silver Pine/Spruce, and Stiletto Red. Price has also increased from 2019’s starting price of $19,289 to $19,499.
