Sick of the short lifespan on your rear OEM rubber? Now there’s a new option. Launched by Michelin in January, the Commander II features a rigid, high-density carcass architecture, which allows for exceptional maneuverability and feedback. More importantly, the Commander II tire raises the standard in cruiser tire longevity as well as handling and stability. Michelin engineers were able to develop a new rubber compound that meets long mileage demands, and which also helps achieve remarkable wet grip performance. The Commander II tire also utilizes a square-bead sidewall, which allows and easier installation, and it’s available in 15 sizes, in both bias and radial construction.
