Avon's Cobra Whitewalls Chosen for Triumph Thunderbird LT

The popular Cobra whitewalls, originally developed specifically for cruising, touring and custom motorcycle applications, have been selected as original equipment for the Triumph Thunderbird LT beginning in 2014.

Because impeccable handling was top priority, Triumph partnered with Avon Tyres to develop the unique radial whitewall motorcycle rubber that delivers performance superior to bias ply tires. The beautiful whitewall design complements the classic styling of the Triumph Thunderbird LT introduced in Milan last November.

The ultra-quiet Cobra incorporates sport tire technology for nimble handling, incredible stability and long life. The special construction, unique sidewall, and aggressive tread pattern make the Cobra tough enough for heavy loads while offering great performance and style.
