New Icon Airframe Pro Construct Helmet

The Airframe Pro Construct showcases its hand-laid composite shell for the whole world to see. All the better to see the precision-designed Airframe Pro Construct silhouette. We got in the new Icon Airframe Pro Construct in and I am a fan. We got one in white, but we had another editor with a different magazine that had one in black, so we got to photograph both colors for you. On Icon's website I really liked the white version best, but if I am honest, it really doesn't seem the same in person. The black is much better in my opinion. Either color you choose the Airframe Pro is such a sinister looking helmet, I love the molding of it.

This baby breathes like no ones business. With 9 intake vents and 5 exhaust, this puppy will be the first full face helmet you grab in the summer. The helmet has what Icon calls "Attack Geometry" for aggressive sport bike riding. Which I would agree with, the helmet likes to center itself to the specific position, but not in a bad way, it's not like you cant turn your head or anything like that.

The Hydradry liner is amazingly soft. It makes me want to shave off my beard so i can feel it in full effect. It is a great fitting helmet and extremely light weight. It is a World Standard in safety ratings. It has Icon's Prolock system which does work in creating a locked down great seal.

So if you are shredding the track on your CBR or cruising the open highway on your Road Glide, the Icon Airframe Pro is a solid helmet to have. You get that sinister look, with World Standard safety and maximum comfort. MSRP on the Airframe Pro Construct is only $395.
