Brammo, Inc. (Brammo) issued a recall for some 2013-2014 Empulse and Empulse R motorcycles. Affected bikes were manufactured from November 19, 2012, to July 8, 2014. The problem is oil leaking from the transmission breather tube, which may in turn blow onto the rear fender and tire. As we all know, oil on your rear tire can cause loss of control and increased risk of crashing the motorcycle. Brammo will notify owners. Company dealers will install a new transmission breather baffle kit, free of charge. The recall starts February 12, 2015. Owners may contact Brammo customer service at 1-541-482-9555.
