Between the Lines | 110th Anniversary Triumph Bonneville T100

Triumph’s Tribute

It’s a year of anniversaries apparently, and Triumph is seizing the moment with a model that honors the firm’s own 110 years in the business. The 2012 Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition is based on the standard T100 model, which is itself a modern reinterpretation of the 1960s-era Bonnevilles. The limited-edition model features an Aluminum Silver and Khaki Green paint scheme similar to the earliest Triumphs.

Beneath the 110th Anniversary badging and cosmetics, you’ll find the same, 865cc parallel twin from the standard Bonneville T100. With dual overhead cams, fuel injection and 67bhp on tap, the tried-and-true mill offers stout performance and a classic Brit soundtrack. Suspenders are also identical to the T100, with 41mm front forks and chromed rear shocks.

Each limited-edition 110th Anniversary Bonneville T100 includes a numbered plaque on the handlebar clamp and a certificate of authenticity. Only 1,000 models will be built worldwide, with 250 allotted for the U.S. and 25 for Canada. Price is set at $10,499 U.S, and it's available now. For more info, visit www.triumphmotorcycles.com.
