Of the new Softails rolling out of Harley-Davidson's factory, the Heritage 114 is my favorite. It seems to perfectly hit this sweet spot between cruiser and bagger, giving you the best of both worlds. While Cycle World just named the Fat Bob its Cruiser of the Year for 2018, I make an argument for this bad boy right here.
The floorboards sit right between forwards and mids, and the handlebars have a nice little bit of rise to them. The two-tone windshield and blackened nickel studs on the seat and saddlebags add a bit of classic style to the touring amenities. The 114ci engine adds some power and make long miles easier, keeping the bike in lower revs at highway speeds. This two-tone paint scheme in Candy Brown and black is one of our favorites, being somewhat understated but still really standing out when the sun hits the flake.
Heritage Classic models start at $19,049, but this model with the paint and 114ci engine will cost you $21,599. Check out our review From the Cockpit for the full evaluation of this great cruiser.
