When Harley-Davidson released the new line of Softails, all eyes went to the Fat Bob. With its large 2-to-1-to-2 pipe, futuristic-looking LED headlight, and inverted fork, it looked to be the natural successor to the Dyna (though that's still up for debate). Now back for 2019, we don't see any real updates to the platform, just some nice new paint colors—but that doesn't take away from how much we like this bike.
The new color we brought in is called Wicked Red Denim, “Denim” being H-D’s term for that pearly matte finish that really sets it off. Pair that with the largest engine offered in this platform—the Milwaukee Eight 114—and you’ve got yourself one hell of a good-looking and nice riding combination.
We’ll be riding this bike for the next couple of weeks and pitting it against a couple of other cruisers to see which comes out on top, so if you like the Fat Bob, stay tuned!
