Testing for horsepower and torque numbers can show you exactly how far some manufacturers are from reality in the specs they display on their site. Sure, most of them are very close but we are yet to find one that's spot on. There is always some level of play with machine calibration on both ends, but we still think it's a valuable tool to be able to throw our bikes up on this machine and see exactly how much power they're getting to the wheel.
At 803cc, the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled puts out 74.3 bhp, and 50.2ft-lbs torque. This is pretty darn close to the numbers that Ducati puts out for this bike, enough to call them both right and say that the difference is just in calibration. This bike is an absolute blast to ride, be sure to check out our review down below!
