I have always been skeptical about buying rental bikes. You assume they have had the crap beat out of them by people who don't have their own bikes back home or know how to treat them properly. And if they do know how to treat them properly, you assume they're not babying thething through those miles, as they won't be the ones suffering the repercussions later on. Well if you've got your eyes on one of EagleRider's rental bikes, you can rest easy. They have just announced the most absurdly complete warranty I have ever heard of.

Basically, if you buy one of their used bikes that is less than 10 years old, with less than 60,000 miles on it, your engine, transmission, primary drive and drive axle are insured by them up to a million miles. Yes, a MILLION miles. Go ahead and try to hit it. Here's what they had to say:

In its latest move to offer unparalleled customer and road protection services, EagleRider today announced that it will now offer motorcycle buyers the opportunity to enjoy its Million Mile Limited Powertrain Protection.

EagleRider consistently works to make motorcycle adventure convenient and safe for its growing customer base. This new offering empowers EagleRider motorcycle buyers to feel increasingly more confident in their purchase and ride without worry for up to one million miles.

Complimentary powertrain coverage begins immediately following the purchase of an eligible motorcycle. Eligible motorcycles are thoroughly inspected by EagleRider service team members, are less than 10 years in age and have fewer than 60,000 miles on the odometer. The protection plan covers the engine, transmission, primary drive and drive axle up to one million miles.

“Our first priority continues to be improving upon our ability to enhance the EagleRider customer experience,” said Chris McIntyre, EagleRider Founder and CEO. “This additional warranty provides an added sense of assurance for buyers, whether they are first-time buyers or trading in for a newer model from the trusted EagleRider fleet."

Additional benefits include towing reimbursement up to $75 each time, roadside assistance, rental reimbursement and the option to choose a 24-, 36- or 48-month term full WRAP coverage for a new bike or a 12-, 24- or 36-month term for a pre-owned bike.
